Run Contests to Excite Your List Members

It can sometimes get boring to open the same kinds of e-mails from the same person over and over again. That’s why you need to keep things exciting and fresh.
A fun way to do this is to host contests. People absolutely love to win things, and this can help you get a lot of interaction.
Contests are even more exciting to your readers when the prize is valuable. You may consider investing in a physical product that you will ship to the winners – or cash! This is more exciting than providing digital gifts to your list members.

Contests are a good idea, indeed. Perhaps surveying your list first as to what kind of contest they’d be interested in and what kind of prizes they’d like might be helpful.
Recently Shoemoney announced a video contest.
I was going to participate but my old camera quit working and the new one I bought needs a computer with a faster processor than I have.
If I was asked which kind of contest I’d prefer I would have said not a video one until I get a new computer.
As for prizes, cash works well for all. It’s hard to please everybody with anything else.
