Hi Scott, thanks for your message.

I totally agree with you! The most important lesson I've learned over the years is it's all about looking after your subscribers by giving them a reason to be on your list. I'm in the process of setting up a series of online videos where I answer people's most urgent questions about Internet Marketing and list building. All I'm doing is asking my readers what questions they have, they let me know, I then create a quick 5 minute video that answers their question.

You can see the first video here...
<a href="http://www.screencast.com/t/muhLi7chv9f" rel="nofollow">http://www.screencast.com/t/muhLi7chv9f</a>

This has many advantages on lots of different levels... The first is you're showing your readers that you're there to help them ...which gives them the opportunity to get to know, like and trust you. So when you make a product recommendations they're more likely to listen to you. Next... the videos can be used to generate more subscribers by uploading the to YouTube.com and other websites like this.

What I'm doing is having all my videos hosted on Screencast.com in one central place, then use TubeMogul.com to distribute those videos to other places. This then brings in more subscribers who get the content and great recommendations.

At the end of the day it's all about the value you provide that turns you into an authority people listen to time and time again. What value are you offering your subscribers?

Absolutely right...

A list is the only way to make your business stable. Without a list it is like cold calling every day. Think of your list as repeat customers. Treat them well, coddle them, be fair and they will support you.
