Consider The Length Of Your E-mails

By Brian Terry

There are some people who hate writing so much that their e-mails are only ever a paragraph or so long. There are others who are so prolific that their e-mails go on for pages.

It’s probably best to find something in between. If you are a writer who tends to go on and on, you have to remember that people are very busy.

They often don’t have time to read long e-mails. On the other hand, you’re probably not providing much value or making enough of an effort if your e-mails are too short. Find a happy medium, and your response rates will likely improve.

Looking forward to building my list with your free plug in… I have a two questions and was hoping you could help me out:

1). When I installed my Wordpress plugin, the popup kept opening inside of itself. Because the page that appears in my popup is a page on my blog, it keeps opening up over and over again on itself. Is there a way to fix this?

2). How do I create and adjust my popup so it looks like yours? I want to just present a form with a button. Do I need to have an autoresponder account already set up like Aweber?

    Thanks,
    Raza

Yes… don’t feature your blog post within your popup window. Instead show people a page they can enter their name and email address to join your list. Or feature a banner ad in you popup.

Here’s the download link to my popup window used on this blog. Just add your autoresponder code and change the text and you’re ready to go…

I highly recommend that you use Aweber to help you create optin forms and manage your list…

    I hope this helps.
